Contact us today to discuss your automation needs and embark on a journey towards enhanced productivity and efficiency.

Our offering in the field of Automation technologies offers a total solution and is diverse. The experience gained from over 200 realised projects allows us to meet your specific wishes as customer and to develop tailor-made solutions for a wide range of conditions of your control systems. Would you like to find out more about our services?

We have been experts in the design, construction, testing and commissioning of automation and control software for several years. We employ robustly structured software coding to produce highly reliable automation solutions.

Our software expertise is industry specific and covers PLCs, SCADA, HMI and DCS architectures and systems. We specialise in Rockwell and Siemens automation controls systems, and we also have expertise in other brands and technologies.

All our engineers are proficient in programming using the IEC 61131-3 standard.

We design and build system control panels in various sizes to fit the specific requirements of our valued customers. Our services offer a design and build to IEC 60204.1 standards or manufactured from drawings and technical documentation supplied to us.

Our engineers use various drawing packages to design our control panels such as AutoCAD and VISIO and can also design from FDS/SDS.

Our panels are completed with full documentation kit which would include:

  • Electrical schematics
  • GA Drawings
  • Parts lists
  • Datasheets

An engineering, procurement and construction contract is the most common form of contract used to manage complex, small to large scale technical engineering projects. Ultimately an EPC contract takes initial automation project ideas and turns this into a reality by demonstrating effective communication and strong capabilities to achieve project goals successfully.

Engineering

Our engineers are the brains behind the planning, design, and implementation of all our automation projects. Typically, the engineer will first meet up with the customer to discuss all the requirements of the project. This discussion will feed into the functional design specification (FDS), a standard document that will layout the requirements for the project from electrical, network to control system specifications. They will then agree the most effective electrical and control system configuration to achieve the greatest efficiency in the automation of the plant.

Procurement

Our procurement team combine electrical, control system design and installation requirements for each project to produce a detailed project budget and build schedule. Liaising regularly with our established suppliers and contractors ensures goods and services provided are cost effective and can be delivered on time. Working with our engineers we actively seek out new technologies and methods that have helped us to deliver robust automation projects within our industry.

Construction/Installation

We ensure quality and excellence are achieved continuously by using carefully selected suppliers and contractors for our projects. All our automation installation be it the system control panels, and plant installations have a detailed schedule planning onsite labour, resources, plant, and materials. The Project Manager is given support to enable materials to flow smoothly and proficiently by using standard installation guides whilst causing minimum disruption to the operation of the plant if developing existing control systems.

Consulting & System Integration

We offer control systems specific expertise to address your unique challenges. We endeavour to reduce any project risk and to provide solutions specific to your needs. We have versatile experience in design and installation of the world’s top leading brands in PLCs like Allen Bradley & Siemens control systems which offers our customers flexibility.
Our focus is centred on delivering customer value. We always endeavour to help our customers in achieving the following:

  • Quickest time to market
  • Advanced & improved asset utilisation & optimisation
  • Asset risk management

Asset management is the asset’s most important stakeholder because they have a direct relationship with key contractors and equipment suppliers. Managing all assets in a plant and regular performance monitoring drives maximum performance and revenues from the assets.

TAYS Automation has a commitment to offer after sales support by having engineers available for site visits, regular monitoring and analysis, O&M management, and H&S management.
